As things may change constantly with COVID-19 related travel policies, we wanted to inform you of the current policies to enter Hawaii. International students traveling directly to Hawaii from an international destination must present BOTH an approved vaccination record AND a negative COVID-19 test result (NAAT or antigen) within one day of boarding a flight to the United States.
For international students traveling from another US city have two options to skip quarantine of 5 days: 1) Vaccination Exception Program or 2) Pre-Travel Testing Exception Program. Most if not all students will be fully vaccinated upon entering the United States so they can go with the Vaccination Exception Program to enter Hawaii and skip quarantine.
