GV Hawaii is accepting applications for Cambridge Young Learners of English (YLE, ages 7-12) and Teen Learners of English (TLE, ages 12-17) Programs for the summer!

As of May 13, 2022, the CDC requires children ages 2 through 17 years old who are not vaccinated to make the following arrangements in compliance with US entry requirements. A passenger disclosure and attestation form will need to be completed and submitted to the airline or aircraft operator prior to boarding a flight to the US.

1.      To be tested with a COVID-19 viral test 3-5 days after arriving in the United States, unless the person has documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days; COVID testing is available across the street of Global Village Hawaii at Ala Moana Shopping Center;

2.      To self-isolate for a full 5 calendar days and properly wear a well-fitting mask any time this person is around others during  this person’s isolation period and for an additional 5 days after ending isolation,
• if the result of the post-arrival viral test is positive, or
• if this person develops COVID-19 symptoms.

CDC entry requirements are subject to change so it is important to stay up to date by visiting the CDC website at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/noncitizens-US-air-travel.html before your departure date.  

In addition to the CDC requirements, Global Village Hawaii requires all TLE & YLE students to wear a mask indoors or on any indoor TLE & YLE activity.
